Sprint And Samsung Announce Epic 4G(Galaxy S Pro)

Sprint and Samsung have officially announced that they will soon be offering the Samsung Epic 4G, otherwise known as the Galaxy S Pro. The new Android handset features a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard and 4″ Super AMOLED display, along with 4G connectivity on Sprint’s network. Also packed into the handset are a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 5MP camera capable of 720p video recording.
Other details released are that it will come running Android 2.1, with some Samsung tweaks such as their “Social Hub” running within their Touchwiz 3.0 interface. Fans of the Swype keyboard will be happy to know it will come pre-installed on the Epic 4G. Additionally, the device will come with new 6-axis control, which should eventually make for an interesting gaming experience.
Unfortunately no specific information has been released regarding pricing or availability, but more information should be available soon.
